Where to rent an HVLP spray gun?
I am going to paint an aftermarket bumper for my audi a4.
First – an HVLP spray gun is what i should/can use correct???
Second – Where can I rent one of these? I live in Massachusetts just outside of Lowell. So this means I live near Home Depot, Lowes, Taylor Rental, and just about any store you can imagine (not to sound conceded im just saying)
So please let me know of any large chain stores that rent these!
And if they do, if you know about how much they are that would be great to know as well.

You don’t necessarily need an HVLP gun, any spray gun or for that matter spray paint cans would work. If you really want a HVLP gun, go buy a used Power Painter, not top of the line, but effective for small simple jobs.
if you want the color to match and look right, take the cover to a body shop and have them shoot it for you. its a lot cheaper. to be correct, you will be shooting a base coat clear coat urethane paint. has isocyanates. real nasty. you will need to prep the bumper with an adhesion promoter, primer, sealer, then shoot the base coat, then the clear. then hope all turns out well, no runs or drips. you will be buying close to 300 dollars in materials, plus renting a spray gun for another 40 dollars or so.
